Preston's Story
Preston came to see Dr. Shepard to have his wisdom teeth removed. Understandably, he was a little nervous, but Dr. Shepard gave him the rundown of what was going to happen. Preston knew that he was going to be sedated so he wouldn’t feel a thing, and all that extra time he received before his treatment made him feel more relaxed. He even remembers Dr. Shepard calling his mom afterward to make sure he was recovering well, and he thought that was a nice touch.
Kay's Story
“I just felt very protected here because the people are so kind. Changed my life quite a bit, actually.” Kay had lost several teeth and some of her jawbone structure by the time she came to see Dr. Shepard. While she knew it was going to take a lot of work to get her to where she wanted to be, she felt like she was in great hands the entire time. Alice's Story
Alice had two dental bridges fail in the span of a year, so she was spending a lot of time at her dentist’s office. Rather than keep trying to fix the same problem, her dentist referred her to Piney Point and Dr. Shepard for dental implants. What she initially noticed was how friendly and professional the staff was, but what really sticks in her mind is what Dr. Shepard did after her surgery. Not only did he call her the next day to make sure she was doing alright, but he also let her know that she could reach out to him at any time, 24/7. Although John practiced basic oral hygiene at home, he struggled with periodontal disease when his general dentist referred him to Piney Point. In addition to performing a completely pain-free implant procedure for John, Dr. Koo and the rest of our team demonstrated genuine concern for his health and well-being, which is why we gave him a more comprehensive list of what to do and what not to do to keep his teeth and gums healthy in the long term.
